As you know by now, we’re suckers for anything crafty and since all our jewellery is hand-made by the designer himself, we love a bit of DIY and enthusiastic bloggers are our favourites. Following our post about the super crafty girls at Honestly WTF DIYing a Proenza Schouler chandelier-like necklace, today we’re showing you a slightly easier (but just as effective) idea if you’re a big fan of Tom Binns’ messy-chic jewellery and his recent neon pieces. The girls at Bleach Black have taken into their own hands and created their own version of this necklace:

One of the bloggers trekked her local antiques store for the necklace, followed by a visit to the supplies store for some colouring pens, and after a quick paint job the result is a nod to the jewellery designer, and a more discreet version of his necklace, which she can wear everyday.

Oh and the best part? It was all under 50 dollars!
